White Night’s sister festival is Nuit Blanche in Amiens France which takes place on Saturday 17 October: a collaboration made possible through the INTERREG IV A France (Channel) – England cross-border European cooperation programme, co-financed by the ERDF.
White Night Brighton & Hove is led by Brighton & Hove Arts Commission working in partnership with Brighton & Hove City Council and supported by SEEDA and Arts Council England SE to help great art to everyone

The Anglo-French dimension of the White Night festival is being funded by the EU Interreg lVA France (Channel) – England programme. The aim of this fund is to bring organisations together from both sides of the channel, to develop cross-border cooperation initiatives in the fields of economic development, tourism, art and culture, education and research.
Brighton & Hove City Council and Amiens Metropole successfully applied for this funding and have developed a 3 year long project to produce White Night/Nuit Blanche festivals in both cities. This will involve project coordinators, artists, musicians and curators from both sides of the Channel to work together and perform in one another’s areas. This European added value dimension will help to broaden the cultural and artistic offer in both areas, whilst strengthening European citizenship in the region.
The Interreg coordinating team in charge of planning, organising and coordinating the Anglo-French artist exchanges, artist commissions and exchange activity is made up of:
