BREMF’s ‘Consort of Voices’, hijack spaces with exquisite music. The enchanting sound ‘occupations’ explore traditional ideas of ‘good vibrations’ and their particular effect on spaces within the City on a busy Saturday night.
A playful approach to noise abatement – expect to be ambushed, soothed and immersed in sound held to lift the spirit, evoke utopian ideas of ‘another world’, even inducing trance like meditative states.’Resonant Spaces | Resonant Voices’ is an exploration of previously overlooked spaces within the City through polyphonic vocal music.
‘Resonant Spaces | Resonant Voices’ is a performance collaboration between visual artists Helen Dewhurst and Amy Cunningham of the ‘Voice Laboratory’ (University of Brighton) and vocalists from Brighton Early Music Festival’s ‘Consort of Voices’.
