For the duration of the White Night a live stream audio link establishes a connection between two trees, one in central Brighton, the other in the depths of Friston Forest. The forest can hear the White Night festival while members of the audience can listen to the sounds of the forest at night. Pick up the receiver of an old telephone to be put through to the forest and explore with the artist the sense of dislocation, of longing for something other than what is, which gives rises to the fabrication of utopian dreams.
