We Are No Heroes

with Welsh maverick Sean Tuan John

The Nightingale’s off-site celebrations for White Night:

Join 3 disgruntled superheroes on mobility scooters on a delightfully kitsch journey throughBrightonwhere our dejected superheroes grapple with darkly humorous memories of their You(R)topias: heroism, consumerism and domesticity, providing some wonderful synchronized mobility scooter routines along the way. The guided performance trail starts at Jubilee Square and concludes in the perfectly serene surroundings of The Nightingale…but expect a surprise!!

Meet in at the Nightingale Meeting Point in Jubilee Square up to 15 minutes before the start of each trail:

Trail A starts at 8:30pm

Trail B starts at 10:15pm

Trail C starts at midnight

 

Tickets: FREE (Book in at the White Night Information, Jubilee Square) Arrive 15 minutes before the performance begins. Places are limited to 25 audience members.

THE UNBUILT ROOM

Seth Kriebel

This unique hit show – part performance and part game – returns to The Nightingale in an all-new version. The Unbuilt Room explores how places create memories … and how memories create places. Small groups of players wander through rooms real and imagined to explore a version of The Nightingale which probably doesn’t exist.

 

PERFORMANCES: 7pm, 7.30pm, 8pm, 8.30pm, 10.15pm, midnight

In The Nightingale Dining Room. Running time 20 mins.

THE DEPARTMENT OF UNRELIABLE MEMOIRS

In celebration of the lifting of the Ban on Dubious Facts, The Dept. of Unreliable Memoirs has recently reopened itsBrightonbureau! Make an appointment with our helpful hostesses to retrieve a half forgotten moment, from a past you may well have had.

The Department of Unreliable Memoirs is an intimate encounter for one audience member. It invites you into a little world of shifting memory, secret lives and mischief.

PERFORMANCES: Running throughout the night from 7.30pm – 1:00am.

In The Office (Nightingale). Appointments are 5 minutes. Single Consultations only.
