Duke of York’s – Cinecity presents: All Tomorrow’s Parties

UK 2009. 82mins   In out-of-season holiday camps cult music festival ALL TOMORROW’S PARTIES serves up a heady combination of alternative music, crazy golf and chalet-living; all curated by a single band or artist.   Ten years on from the inaugural event this film is a timely celebration of what lies behind the success of ATP, the great music. Made from Super8, camcorder and mobile phone footage from over 200 film-makers, fans and musicians (credited as ‘All Tomorrow’s People’) who have attended ATP festivals over the years, there are also key contributions from Vincent Moon and Jonathan Caouette (TARNATION). Featured bands include:

GrindermanSonic Youth  -  Patti Smith  -  Dirty Three  -  Portishead  -  Daniel Johnston and many many more!

This exciting and engaging documentary succeeds wonderfully in capturing the uncompromising spirit of a parallel music universe.

Komedia – DA DOO RON RON is 11! Presents Miss Fortune!

Da Doo Ron Ron get lucky with superstar guest DJs and will be spinning a fabalicious mix of 60s femme pop, soul sirens, sister funk and chicks from the late 50 to early 70s – pop ‘n’ soul tunes serenading the duplicity of love!
